Do not stay here. My wife and I drove from Atlanta to CT and thought that this would be a charming hotel to stay in based upon the images of luxury and elegance, and the advertised amenities were very nice. 1) There was no A/C. We asked the clerk daily to take a look at it and fix it, and each day we were advised that it would be dealt with. No A/C for a week. 2) The pool had a rusted step on the top rung that broke when I stepped on it filling the water with rusted metal particles and I almost seriously injured myself. 3) Their "Continental Breakfast" consisted of old cereal (2 kinds tops) and some stale bagels. No heating elements, no alternatives. Just a small table in the back of a huge room with just the above. 4) Its a ghost town with nothing to offer its guests, and they don't even run the electricity during the day to save on money so you walk around in darkness trying to leave. 5) Their staff is so ignorant they couldn't even figure out how to give us a discount after all of the above. I mean we asked them daily to do something about our A/C in the summer time. They told me to call back to talk to a manager, and I asked that the manager call me since I was the guest. Still no phone call. 6) The strip club next door was most interesting. They advertised themselves as a luxury hotel, yet they use their "restaurant" space as a club on the weekends with under aged kids filling the halls, parking lot and even the rooms. There are brochures that advertise room discounts for people visiting the strip club. This was so disgusting. Do not stay here. I am not a letter writer but I will also be contacting the Chamber of Commerce and the BBB.

We had an early morning flight and needed to be at the airport by 5:15am. After a very good nights sleep our wake up call at 4:00 was right on time. Suttle was scheduled at 5:00 and we were at the airport by 5:10. I was very pleasently surprised to find breakfast ready when we arrived at the lobby at 4:45. Thank you Days Inn for making sure all our needs were taken care of.

We were a high school golf team up for a tournament and the accommodations were great for our needs. I couldn't help noticing that there were a number of flight crews staying at this hotel and I wondered if the old saw about "looking for a good place to eat - ask a cop" might apply for flight crews. Would definitely come back if just for the great breakfast alone. You get over the airplanes flying so low very quickly (the place is on a flight path) and they did not disturb our sleep.
